We are currently seeking self-motivated, qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our client's rapidly growing organisation. You will be part of an enthusiastic and busy maintenance team on a contract basis with the possibility of becoming full-time.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor/Leading Hand, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting drawings, carrying out repairs, maintenance and routine servicing of a variety of earthmoving equipment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:

An Australian Recognised Heavy Diesel trade qualification
Two to three years previous heavy diesel experience with heavy earthmoving machinery in a civil construction/mining environment
Ability to meet deadlines and balance conflicting priorities
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be adaptable and flexible with the ability to think on your feet
Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills
Current HR licence
Possession of High Risk Tickets, Aircon Ticket and Tyre Fitter Certificate II are desirable
Welding and Auto Electrical experience desirable
