ER10760 - Health Safety Emergency Response Officer

Our Client has a long operating history and an extensive gold production record in open pit and underground operations.  They are seeking a professional Health & Safety Emergency Response Officer for a three month period commencing as soon as possible.  This is a FIFO role from Perth Western Australia only.
Essential:

·        
Minimum Certificate IV Occupational Health & Safety qualification- from a reputable provider.

·        
Certificate IV Health Care (Ambulance)

·        
Minimum Cert Ill Mine Emergency Response

·        
Certificate IV Training & Assessment

·        
At least 4 years mining safety experience, with a minimum of 2 years site safety underground experience

·        
Experienced driver in underground environment

·        
Incident investigation qualification (ICAM, Tap Root or similar)

·        
Auditing qualifications Strong ability to work effectively with people

·        
High level of enthusiasm and time management skills to achieve the work with high performance goals for self

·        
Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills

·        
Knowledge of the statutory requirements of the role
·         Demonstrated high level of computer literacy (MS Office – INX and Pronto desirable)
 
Desirable

·        
A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline

·        
Advanced Life Support Medical qualification

·        
ICAM Lead Investigation

·        
Lead Auditor Qualification.
