Our Client is requiring a Senior OHS Officer for their Open Pit and Underground Mine Site.
This is an 8 days on 6 days off roster FIFO from Perth only, for a 6 month contract with the possibility of extending or going permanent.
Minimum 5 years in a mining environment with underground experience preferably on gold sites
Cert IV in Surface Ventilation (desirable)
Cert IV in Occupational Health & Safety
Cert IV in Training and Assessing
HR Driver's Licence
Update and maintain the Site Safety Management Plan
Provide guidance to line management in developing effective corrective actions for reported incidents and hazards
Review incidents and ensure all learnings are mapped against existing site documentation including the Risk Register and ER Plans
Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
