Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Open Pit Geologist to join their gold operations. This is a FIFO position from Perth Western Australia or DIDO from the Goldfields residential areas on a 9/5 roster.
Requirements:-
Monitor QA/QC of sampling and assaying
Supervision of mapping of geological features within the pit and drafting of maps
Excellent communication between all personnel
Comply with Mine Safety and Inspection Act 1994
Setting out drill patterns, sampling and logging as required
Qualifications and Experience:-
8+ years' experience in Open Pit - preferably in gold
Exposure to Surpac and GCS grade control systems highly desirable
C Class Driver's Licence
Police Clearance
