An opportunity exists for an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our client's successful gold operation in Western Australia. This is a FIFO or DIDO role on a 2:1 roster, available either as a commute ex-Perth or residential in the regional areas.
Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Scheduled servicing
Maintenance and repairs to mine site vehicles and light trucks
Disassembles and overhaul motors, transmissions, clutches, electrical systems and all other assemblies
Run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
Keep logs of work and report on issues
Undertake other duties as directed
Requirements:
Australian Trade Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Police clearance
C class driver's licence
Good attitude
Physically fit
Easily pass a pre-employment and drug and alcohol screen
Immediate start if possible
