Mining Employment Service is currently seeking Exploration Geologist for up and coming gold projects in Australia.
Geologists will have the following skills
Coordinating and supervising geochemical, geophysical and RC and diamond core drill programs
Prospect and regional scale geological mapping
Target generation.
Assist with budget preparation and ensure work programs are achieved within set timeframes and budgets.
Supervise junior geologists, field technicians and contractors as required.
In-house technical and statutory Mines Department reporting.
To be considered for the role you must possess:
A tertiary qualification in geology, preferably with honours.
Competency in use of mining software and database packages, such as Micromine, Surpac, MapInfo and Datashed (or equivalent).
Excellent administration, communication and reporting skills.
A commitment to continuous professional development.
