KF11250 Senior Mining Engineer

Client is an emerging multinational gold and copper producer with over 20 years of operating sustainably in 3 Countries. They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Underground Senior Mining Engineer. This is a great opportunity to work in an exciting and ever-changing environment in a country outside of Australia.
The successful applicant will provide a high standard of engineering input and direction in development and optimisation of the underground mine. This role is integral to the success of the operation and responsible for developing and implementing all resolutions of the mine plan. As the Senior Engineer you will lead all the engineering functions for the underground parts of the mine, and proactively and continually monitor mine performance against plan.
Key responsibilities for this role include:

managing the mine design process to ensure accurate mine designs are completed in a timely manner
oversee the mine ventilation department so that ventilation surveys are conducted in accordance with required regulations
oversee and lead the Production Engineers to ensure all stope designs are optimised for maximum economic extraction
manage mining projects and evaluations of options for improving $ per oz.

The successful applicant will have:

significant post graduate experience in a hard-rock underground mining environment experience with Deswik and Vulcan preferred
proven supervisory and leadership experience
first-hand experience in mine design, planning and costing.
