Accelerate your career with this opportunity in our client's Technical Services Department, reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer – Technical Services as the Mining Engineer – Drill & Blast.
You will assist with safely achieving the production targets by conducting stope designs, firing plans, QA/QC, stope reconciliations and other technical activities while being a positive influence in the underground operational environment. You will work as part of a dynamic and innovative team and will have the opportunity to work closely with various Technical Services and Operations departments.
This position will see you bring people together by encouraging input from key stakeholders and having the ability to effectively communicate across different levels of the business. As a positive safety influence, you will strive to foster safety citizenship within the business and actively promote and support our client's values.The successful candidate will hold a qualification in Mining Engineering.
Previous experience as Drill & Blast and Short Term Planning Engineer in underground metalliferous mines will be looked upon favourably.
