MES is currently seeking an Underground Mine Foreman to play a key part in the growth of our international client's gold operation in the Northern Territory.
The key objectives of this contract position are:
Ensure the development and implementation of Standards and Procedures for all mining activities under your control.
Ensure risks are assessed and accounted for to provide for the safe and efficient operation of the underground mine
Ensure correct training and certification of employees
You will be familiar Microsoft Office, have proven management experience, good people skills and excellent complex problem-solving skills.
You will need excellent planning and organisational skills, including goal setting, group performance monitoring to be successful in this role.
Effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to convince others to co-operate and contribute is a must.
