Our Client operates a world-class mining and processing operation that is located in Queensland and are dedicated to meeting and achieving stringent environmental & safety standards and performance. The training and development of their Processing staff is a high priority.

They are searching for a high calibre Mill Operator Trainer to join the supervisory ranks of their organisation on either a long term contract role or if desired a permanent position. The process plant comprises of crushing, grinding, flotation and dewatering.

Reporting to the Processing Foreman, you will be a key member in the operations team. You will assist with the management of the operational activities of the team and also be responsible for:

• Providing high quality leadership and training
• Ensuring that operational key performance indicators are met on a shift basis
• The safe and efficient operation of all plant within your area of responsibility

You are required to have a minimum of five years supervisory and training experience in mineral processing, with proven exposure to base metal flotation, along with a good knowledge of safe work isolation procedures, with an exemplary safety record and focus. You will also be experienced in the hands-on field and control room operations, have excellent communication skills and have the desire to transfer your skills and knowledge to the workforce.
