MINING ENGINEERING: 4964 - Underground Projects Engineer - NT
Our Client is a significant gold producer with assets and operations around the world, including mining operations in Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
They are currently seeking a Underground Projects Engineer for their NT operations.
The key purpose of this position is the detailed mine planning and design of our clients high grade underground operation to ensure the safe, efficient and optimal ore recovery, creating maximum value for the company stake holders, whilst complying with all regulatory requirements and safety standards.
You will have the option to FIFO of any Australian Capital City.
Skills required for this role include;

Degree in Mining Engineering with a minimum of 2 years experience

Practical underground mining experience which includes drilling and blasting (1 year minimum)

Underground shift supervision experience desirable

Proficient in the use of Underground mine design and planning software

Contract Administration and Management experience
-
Exposure to Mine Control Systems (PitRAM preferably)
