5234 - Environmental Advisor - Pilbara Region WA
An opportunity currently exists for an Environmental Advisor to join a leading international mining group with significant businesses scanning across Australia, Asia, Africa, Europe, North America and South America.
Duties include ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, environmental monitoring & research programs and maintenance of the certified RTM AP Environmental Management System, including identification and assessment of environmental risks and opportunities and the development & implementation of appropriate environmental improvement plans for site. Material support for and communication of environmental training and awareness programs amongst employees and contractors is required as is assistance with environmental auditing on and off site.
To be considered for this role you will ideally have:
- A Degree in Environmental Science or equivalent
- Previous experience in the mining industry
