Our Client is a major participant in the global mineral sands sector and is involved in the sales and marketing of titanium based products and zircon. They have existing operations in Western Australia, Victoria, Queensland and the USA.

They are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Process Engineer to join their operations. The primary purpose of this role is to provide metallurgical expertise and operational knowledge to enable the Mill and Dry Plant to maximise throughput, quality, recovery and cost control.

The core responsibilities will include:

• A pro-active role in the investigation and analysis of process problems and the subsequent development of workable solutions;
• Conducting on-line test work and projects aimed at optimising and improving circuit performance; and
• Assisting in the formulation of production, financial and capital budgets for sections of the plant.

This is a key role and will require effective communication and interpersonal skills, analytical skills and high level computer literacy.

The successful candidate will need to hold a relevant tertiary qualification and have the ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders and successfully lead changes that will achieve sustained improvements in plant performance.
