PROCESSING: 5277 - Process Engineer WA
Our Client operates six sites in Western Australia and has established one of the most efficient operations in the industry contributing to Western Australian export earnings, as well as generating more than 800 full time and contract jobs.
They are currently seeking a Process Engineer to join their operations providing technical support to their processing plant to maintain and enhance quality and productivity.
Your primary duties will include:
- Provide technical support and back up to the production department on a daily basis by monitoring process efficiency, product quality and identifying process improvements to ensure budget recoveries are achieved.
- Participate in project work aimed at process and product improvements and effectively co-ordinate and conduct projects to meet required deadlines.
- Plan, conduct and co-ordinate laboratory, pilot scale and plant test programs.
- Implement and support process control strategies to optimise process performance and product consistency.
- Contribute to the current and future performance of The Company by translating departmental strategies into implementation plans within own area.
- Minimise company risk exposure and liabilities by monitoring process engineering activities to ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory and licensing requirements.
This position is available for candidates with experience in a mining and or mineral processing environment supported by relevant metallurgical qualifications as appropriate. A strong commitment to teamwork and safety, and a proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and suppliers is required.
