With facilities throughout Australia, Our client is one of the largest metallurgical and mineral testing facilities in the world, servicing both domestic and international clients.

A challenging position has become available in their Perth branch for a hands on Senior Metallurgist who enjoys all facets of metallurgical consultancy work from conception and testwork through to piloting and client representation.

You will have significant experience in Iron Ore or similar processing and one or more of the following operations: crushing/sizing, thermal tests, magnetite, jigging, spiral tests and be comfortable with handling a number of projects at once. Your excellent MS OFFICE skills will enable you to write detailed, comprehensive reports in a timely fashion and your supervisory talents will ensure the coordination and mentoring of both junior professionals and the technical staff that you will be working with.

This role encompasses a broad range and variety of technical challenges across multiple metallurgical disciplines and requires excellent problem solving skills coupled with outstanding communication abilities.

This is a senior position with a structured package to reflect the quality of candidate required.
