5553 - Maintenance Foreman - Pilbara
Our Client’s Manganese operations in the Pilbara whose operations run out of several small open pits, mining up to 1 million tonnes per year, they are currently seeking the services of an experienced Maintenance Foreman.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent the position is offered on a permanent FIFO from Perth, 2:1 roster.
The Responsibilities of this position are:
- Developing and Implementing Maintenance strategies for the mobile fleet
- Supervise the safe work environment and practices in the mobile plant maintenance area
- Plan and Schedule maintenance activities
- Cost effective ordering of parts and consumables
Requirements of this position are:
- Minimum 5 years as Leading Hand or above in a similar environment
- Trade qualified fitter/ mechanic background
- Computer literate Pronto, MS-Excel and MS-Word
- Develop and implement OHSE practices
- Ability to work autonomously and make decisions under pressure
