GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING: 5699 - Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Tasmania
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their team.
As Senior Geotechnical Engineer you will be responsible for leading a small team of Geotechnical Engineers in the provision of:
- Coordination and management of daily geotechnical activities
- Geotechnical analysis and interpretation
- Seismic data analysis and system maintenance
- Provide geotechnical input and direction in mine development and rehabilitation plans.
- Develop and maintain a routine auditing/testing program to ensure full compliance with site
Requirements:
- A tertiary qualification in either Applied or Engineering Geology, or Mining Engineering
- A minimum of 5-7 years experience in seismically active underground mining operations
- Previous supervisory experience
