SURVEYING: 5717 - Mine Surveyor
Our Client is a successful and rapidly growing mining company with operating mines, new projects under development and a prospective portfolio of exploration projects across Australia and Asia.
They are currently seeking a suitably qualified Mine Surveyor to join their operation.
Responsibilities of the role include;
- All survey control of the operation
- Management of planning activities, both short and long term
- Production operation plans and design
- Ensuring mining surveys are conducted accurately
- Coordinate volume surveys for production
- Ensure adequate survey information provided for lease boundaries project overview
- Manage site engineering surveys as required
- Facilitate exploration borehole locations
- Submission of mine plans to the Department of Mines
The successful applicant will possess;
- Tertiary qualifications in Surveying or equivalent
- Ideally 3 years previous experience within a mining environment
