Our client currently seeks the services of a Superintendant Geology on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Chief Geologist, the key purpose of this role will be to oversee and manage the onsite progression of resource and mine development strategies. You will design and implement plans to improve the reserve base and production potential of the Nullagine Joint Venture.

As the Superintendent Geology you will be responsible for managing a team on site. Initially this will consist of three Geologists and four Field Assistants, however our project is expanding rapidly and your staff will reflect this.  

In your role you will also be required to liaise with an array of contractors to achieve beneficial outcomes for the project.  You will be responsible for the development of the grade control model and the quality control of all mined product. You will be an integral member in the delivery of ore to the customer on grade specification.

Ideally you have experience in Iron Ore, and will be familiar with Pisolite orebodies. You will have good short term mine planning and reconciliation skills, and have a sound knowledge of Surpac and/or Vulcan.

Initially Perth based, the role will develop into a FIFO roster as the project matures.
