GEOLOGY JOBS: 6820 - Open Pit Geologist - CLOSED
Our client is currently seeking an open pit geologist to join their team at one of their overseas mine sites.
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 4 years experience in an open pit environment and will be responsible for the hands on set up of Grade control. Experience with auger sampling is required as this is not conventional grade control. You will also be responsible for the training and mentoring of local geologists. Previous experience using Surpac is essential.
This role is offered on an ongoing contract basis with a view to permanency for the right candidate. The roster will be offered on a 4 weeks on 2 weeks off basis FIFO of any capital city in Australia. A residential option may also be considered in the future.
