Our well established client is currently seeking a Senior Exploration Geologist to join their team. Be at ease and apply for a position knowing you are joining a company that will see you through the current unsteady times when job security is imperative.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Providing a key role in managing the site-based drilling activities.
Mentoring and training younger members of the geology team
Supervising a project geology team of approximately 10 staff
Drill-hole design, planning and allocation of resources
Geological interpretation and resource modelling
Reporting to the exploration manager, it is vital that you will have 7-10 years experience in geology and have an exceptional background in the mentoring and training of younger workers. You would also be required to have previous 'brownfield' exploration exposure and lastly previous iron ore experience is vital. This role is on a 9/5 roster FIFO Perth only.
