OPEN PIT MINE PLANNING ENGINEER
Our client operates an underground mine in the Northern Territory.
They are looking for an Open Pit Mine Planning Engineer for their operations
This is a key role, providing mine planning for the operations. Specifically ensuring the short term business plan success.
Accountabilities
- Providing short term mine planning
- Detailed mine design
- Scheduling of short term mine plans
- Various other projects as required
- Development of long term planning
- Liaising with mining contractors
This is DIDO from Darwin to site with 5 days on 2 days off roster
Position Requirements

Degree in Mining Engineering

Preferably has a minimum of 2-3 years experience in an underground or open pit operation.

Proven safety management performance in a mining operation
- Initiative and strong problem solving skills

Excellent communication skills

Computer literate with mine planning software
