They are currently offering an opportunity for an UNDERGROUND PRODUCTION ENGINEER to join their team at their Western Australian operation. This position represents a fantastic opportunity for career development within their Group.

The main focus of this role is to facilitate the optimal extraction of gold ore from mining operations through the provision of a comprehensive production planning and scheduling to achieve short to medium production and development targets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Company, OH&S and environmental standards
• Ensure ongoing statutory mine ventilation compliance, including development and implementation
• Support and sustain own personal development
• Assist in coordinating the activities of planning, production and contractors in carrying out the daily work plan, meeting operational and safety targets
• Executing tasks as directed including mine ventilation, drill and blast and mine development design 
• Supporting the mining team in implementation and development of assigned continuous improvement projects including development of review and operating procedures
• Commitment to work as part of a team and to provide leadership and mentoring to assist graduates 

Requirements;

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mining)
• Minimum 3+ years underground engineering experience
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, Datamine, Mine works Planner
• Experience in working effectively with a contractor workforce
• 12 months practical underground experience

This is an FIFO 8/6 Roster
