OPEN PIT MINE PLANNING/PRODUCTION ENGINEER
Our client operates their mining operations in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
They are looking for an Open Pit Mine Planning/Production Engineer for their operations
This is a key role, reporting to the Senior Mine Planning Engineer and providing mine planning/production responsibilities for the operations.
Accountabilities
- Providing mine planning, detailed mine design, development and detailed production scheduling, short term planning
- Prepare monitor and update production data
- Various other projects as required
- Resolve technical problems
- Liaising with consultant and specialist suppliers as required
This is FIFO from Perth with an excellent 12/9 roster
Position Requirements

Degree in Mining Engineering
-
Preferably has a minimum of 2-3 years experience in an open pit operation.

Proven safety management performance in a mining operation
- Initiative and strong problem solving skills

Excellent communication skills
-
Computer literate with mine planning software preferably SURPAC
