MINING ENGINEERING JOBS: 7633 – Underground Production Engineer - Residential WA - Closed
Our client is a leading international gold mining company with a large portfolio of operating mines, advanced exploration and development projects located across five continents.
The group is currently seeking a Underground Production Engineer for one of their underground operations in Western Australia. This role offers the opportunity to make your mark within a World leading Mining Company that offers top training and career development opportunities.
Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer, the main focus of this role is to provide input into the underground production activities at the mine.
Responsibilities for the role
- Underground inspections and production engineering
- Drill and Blast design
- Cost monitoring and analysis to determine continuous improvement
- Project work as required
- Actively seek to encourage safe work procedures and systems
Requirements for the role
- Mining Engineering degree
- 2+ years underground mining experience
- Previous experience in drill and blast
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer literacy with Mine Cad, Mine2-4D
- Ability to sit for Underground Supervisors Ticket
This role will be residential Kalgoorlie and will offer an excellent remuneration package.
