ENGINEERING JOBS: 7775 - Senior Civil Engineer - Closed
Our Client is a Western Australian based Engineering Consultancy providing professional services in three distinct disciplines Civil Infrastructure Engineering Structural Engineering,Building Services. Each discipline is lead by a Principal who is each supported by our highly proficient staff and the latest technology.They are looking for a Civil Engineer with experience in Infrastructure and design.
Responsible for;
They need a senior civil engineer with at least 8 years experience to manage major infrastucture and housing projects. Projects will be varied and will include participating in design and construct contracts with our contracting JV partner, village camps, major earthwork projects etc mainly in the Pilbara.
- Define and review and ensure the quality of the civil engineering work practise.
- Overseeing a small team of designers and with the objective of building and adding to the size of the team.
- Mentor Civil engineering team as well as provide input for team reviews.
- Support and advise other lead discipline engineers and designers.
- Adhere to all safety protocol and comply with industry standards.
Requirements;
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of infrastructure experience with some on minesites.
- Familiar with quality assurance procedures.
- Coordinate civil engineering efforts with other engineering disciplines.
This is a senior position and it is expected the appointed person will soon assume role of Principal of the Resource Civil group.
