The focus of this position is to provide technical support to the maintenance personnel, increase reliability of the winders, and identify, implement and facilitate plant improvement projects to substantially reduce operation costs. This position will involve working with a close knit team of Maintenance and Operations personnel and interactions with customers including Contractors and Suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

•          Applying appropriate engineering standards, technologies and systems;
•          Scope & execution of projects on time and within budget;
•          Assisting in reliability issues and investigations;
•           Continuously seeking improvement through the application of technologies;
•           Providing technical support to maintenance and operations personnel;
•           Providing assistance with increasing reliability;
•          Contractor management during project execution;

The ideal applicant will possess:

•           An Electrical Engineering degree;
•           Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with various departments;
•           A motivated, outcome oriented approach to all tasks;
•           The ability to work autonomously and also in a team environment;
•           Experience in PLC control systems and SCADA would be well regarded.
