MINING ENGINEERING JOBS: 8450 - Mine Scheduling Engineer
Our client is a leading Australian Gold Producer currently seeking a Mine Scheduling Engineer for one of their key WA operations.
This permanent role is available on a FIFO roster from Perth offering competitive remuneration and career development.
As Scheduling Engineer you will provide timely advice on medium and short term mine design, mining methods and schedules to achieve operational objectives. Your main duties will include:

Maintain current and accurate mine designs in accordance with up to date data;

Ensuring performance against mine plans and schedules is tracked;

Preparation of ongoing quarterly forecasts;

Preparation of reports on all changes to forecasts and their impact on mining and production.
The successful applicant will ideally have 3-5 years relevant experience in underground mining operations, detailed knowledge of relevant statutory requirements and excellent communication skills. Previous gold mining experience would be an advantage.
