MINE SURVEYING JOBS: 8489 - Senior Mine Surveyor - NT
Our client, a major gold producer based in the Northern Territory, is seeking the services of an experienced Senior Mine Surveyor. This position, which will be residential-based in Darwin, will form an integral part of the mining team and will be responsible for the supervision and direction of all site-based survey teams.
The Senior Mine Surveyor will be responsible for:-
- The management & co-ordination of all site survey activities & the survey database.
- Providing survey input into mine planning.
- Contributing to production management, reconciliation & reporting through provision of survey information.
- Internal reporting.
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will require:-
- A relevant tertiary qualification in surveying (Grade 1 or 2 Authorisation preferred)
- A minimum of 8-10 years experience in a mining environment (both Underground & Open Pit), with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Experience in mining survey software (with Pronto experience a bonus)
- Demonstrated ability to direct & lead survey teams.
