MINING ENGINEERING JOBS: 8502 - Senior UG Mining Engineer - WA
Our client is an Australian Nickel explorer and producer with its main nickel project just a 1hr flight out of Perth, WA. They are currently seeking a Senior UG Mining Engineer to join them.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a small team of mining engineers
-
Overseeing short, medium and long term planning activities
-
Examining mining methods and equipment to improve performance
-
Providing engineering services to the Underground Manager as required
-
Coordinate engineering activities with production teams, surveyors, geologists, drill and blast and contractor teams

Underground mine design
-
Liaison with the underground mining workforce
-
Preparation of underground mine plans, schedules, forecasts, reserves and budgets
-
Planning and supervision of underground project work
-
Participation in preparation of feasibility studies
Experience
-
Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
-
First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate
-
6+ years previous UG mining engineering experience
This role is being offered on a FIFO 8/6 roster, just a 1 hour flight from Perth, with an excellent remuneration package and benefits on offer.
