MINING ENGINEERING JOBS: 8527 - Underground Mining Engineer - WA
Our client has several mining operations and many advanced exploration projects located across 5 continents. They are currently seeking an UG Mining Engineer for one of their Gold mines in WA.
This role will report to the Senior Mining Engineer and will be responsible for the following:

Promotion of site safety policies

Underground mine design
-
Liaison with the underground mining workforce
-
Preparation of underground mine plans, schedules, forecasts, reserves and budgets

Planning and supervision of underground project work
-
Participation in preparation of feasibility studies
-
Liaison with other departments as required
-
Compilation of daily and monthly reports
The successful applicant will ideally have the following:
-
Mining Engineering degree
-
Three years underground mining experience including development and stoping in mechanised mines
-
West Australian Shift Supervisor’s Certificate or capable of obtaining one
-
Experience with Vulcan software
-
Competent in Excel, Word and Access
-
Good written and oral communication skills.
This position is FIFO 8/6 from Perth with excellent on-site accommodation and recreational facilities including internet café, Foxtel, swimming pool, tennis court, squash court and gymnasium.
