MINING ENGINEERING JOBS: 8611 - Senior Mining Engineer - South Australia
We are currently seeking a Senior Mining Engineer for an underground site in South Australia. This successful group currently has operations in Australia and overseas.
Key Responsibilities
-
Manage a small team of mining engineers
-
Overseeing short, medium and long term planning activities
-
Examining mining methods and equipment to improve performance
-
Providing engineering services to the Underground Manager as required
-
Coordinate engineering activities with production teams, surveyors, geologists, drill and blast and contractor teams

Underground mine design
-
Liaison with the underground mining workforce
-
Preparation of underground mine plans, schedules, forecasts, reserves and budgets

Planning and supervision of underground project work
The successful applicant will ideally have:
-
A Bachelor of Mining Engineering
-
5+ years previous mining engineering experience in an underground environment
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This role is available on a FIFO 8/6 roster from Adelaide and will offer excellent remuneration, career development and benefits.
