MINING ENGINEERING JOBS: 8639 - Mining Engineer - Perth Based
Our client is an International Gold producer currently seeking a Mining Engineer to join technical planning team in Perth.
This role will be Perth based but will require travel to the group’s African operations as required.
Responsibilities

Take up assignments as directed by your manager.

Provide a mining engineering service to the various operating sites to assist in meeting the required levels of planning, design and scheduling diligence through the performance of specific tasks as required.

Strive to identify the mine planning requirements that will unlock the maximum possible value from the identified Mineral Resource for each site.

Provide assistance with respect to all aspects of mining including mine planning, mining methods and mine infrastructure to assist with optimisation of the mine plan

Achieve and maintain high standards of quality, safety, health and environmental performance through leadership and example
The successful candidate will ideally have:

A Bachelor of Mining Engineering

2+ years operational experience on medium to large underground mines
-
3+ years mining engineering and planning experience
-
Competency with mine planning software
