PROCESSING JOBS: 8653 - Senior Metallurgist - Expat
Our Client is currently developing a world class mining operation in an attractive overseas location, and requires an experienced Senior Metallurgist to join their technical group.
You will bring at least 5 years of operational experience in gold or base metals extraction, and be looking for the challenge of using your technical & management expertise to develop the Processing team.
You will also be responsible for training & mentoring the national workforce and have some exposure to plant commissioning and optimisation.
Your qualifications & experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering
- At least 5 years experience in gold or base metals extraction, with a strong working knowledge of CIL/CIP and elution circuits
- Commitment to train & develop a national workforce
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Strong focus on HSE requirements
- Knowledge of metallurgical accounting and project development
