MINING ENGINEERING JOBS: 8655 - Mine Planning Engineer - Residential NSW - Closed
We are currently seeking a Mine Planning Engineer for a residential position in NSW.
Accountabilities

Create short to medium term mine development designs
-
Create and/or modify stope designs to suit the updated orebody geometry, planned mining sequence and other planning and production requirements.

Liaise regularly with Superintendent, Senior Engineers, Geologists and other Tech Services personnel in order to ensure that development and stope designs are optimised.

Act as a mentor to vacation students, technical graduates and technical new starters
-
Promote a safe work culture within the Technical Services team through the demonstration of effective planning, adherence to the Mine Safety Management Plan
Requirements

A Degree in Mining Engineering

3+ years previous underground experience
-
Exposure to mine planning software
