MINE SURVEYING JOBS: 8738 - Mine Surveyor Underground
Mine Surveyor Underground
Our Client is currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Underground Surveyor for their operations. Reporting to the Senior Underground Surveyor, you will assist with operational support for the underground mine including pick-ups, mark-ups, survey station installation and reporting.
Duties will include:
- Perform timely development and production mark-ups for underground mining operations
- Perform regular as-built surveys of mined areas
- Become proficent in the use of associated software/hardware in the underground survey department which include:
- Leica 1100 and 1200 series total stations (including instrument calibration)
- Surpac Software (including MSO application)
- Optech CMS
- CMS stope surveys and processing in Surpac
- Knowledge of Surpac macros associated with daily tasks
Skills and Abilities required:
- Degree or Diploma in Mine Surveying
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- A West Australian Grade 1 Mine Surveyors Authorisation (desirable)
- Sound knowledge of underground survey systems and techniques and across MS Word, Excel, Surpac
