MINING ENGINEERING JOBS: 8877 - Mining Engineer - QLD
Our client is an Australian Gold company currently seeking an Underground Mining Engineer for one of their underground operations in Queensland.
Reporting to the Senior Production Engineer you will be responsible for:

Assisting the management and delivery of mine planning activities
-
Preparing productivity analysis and optimization strategies
-
Providing project based mining engineer support to the planning and production teams
The successful applicant will ideally possess:
-
Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
-
2+ years previous underground metalifierous experience
-
Working knowledge of mine design, planning, risk and option evaluation.
-
Experience in concept and pre-feasibility
-
A strong approach to safety
This role will offer a competitive remuneration package, a FIFO 8/6 roster from Brisbane or Sunshine Coast and excellent career progression with a strong Australian company.
