MINING ENGINEERING JOBS: 8883 - Drill and Blast Engineer - QLD - Closed
Our client is an Australian Gold company currently seeking a Drill & Blast Engineer for one of their underground operations in Queensland.
Reporting to the Senior Production Engineer you will be responsible for:

Drill & Blast Designs
-
Maintaining drill stocks and scheduling for daily & weekly targets
-
Working closely with other mining departments including geology and survey to ensure production targets are met
The successful applicant will ideally possess:
-
Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
-
2+ years in underground metaliferous mining
-
Solid knowledge of drill & blast functions
-
Experience with Mine 2-4D, Datamine EPS and MineCad is preferred.

A strong approach to safety
