MANAGEMENT JOBS: Mining Manager - Underground WA
Our client is a major global mining group currently seeking a Mining Manager for one of their underground sites in Western Australia.
Reporting to the Registered Manager, this role is responsible for managing and controlling all aspects of mining operations at the site, to produce budgeted safe production output in a sustainable, cost effective manner.
Key Accountabilities will include:

Ensuring the health and safety of all mining operations staff
-
Selection, development and training of personnel
-
Setting of clear accountabilities for direct reports
-
Effective performance management
-
Monitor and manage annual mining plan and budget
The successful candidate will ideally have:
-
Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
-
First Class Mine Managers Certificate of WA
-
Previous experience as a Mine Manager
-
Significant senior management experience in an underground hardrock environment
The role will be FIFO 4/3 from Perth with competitive remuneration on offer.
