GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING JOBS: 8893 - Geotechnical Superintendent
Our client is a successful Australian Gold company currently seeking a Geotechnical Superintendent for one of their underground sites in Western Australia.
The Geotechnical Superintendent reports directly to the Manager Mining and will plan and schedule the geotechnical program to ensure it supports and meets operational objectives. Key responsibilities of your role will be to:

Develop and maintain geotechnical modelling and seismic systems for the orebody;

Ensure current and accurate geotechnical information is maintained;

Review mine geotechnical performance on a daily basis;

Ensure mine development is in accordance with geotechnical standards;

Joint development of mine production targets with production and planning personnel for approval by the Manager Mining;

Actively formulate and execute continuous improvement projects.
The successful applicant will ideally have:

Relevant Tertiary qualifications
-
6+ years relevant geotechnical experience
-
Previous experience in the gold mining industry
This role is offered on a FIFO 8/6 roster from Perth. A competitive remuneration package is available.
