MINING ENGINEERING JOBS: 8897 - Production Engineer - WA - Closed
We are currently seeking a Production Engineer for one of our clients underground operations in WA. The group is a successful Gold company with several production and exploration sites throughout Australia.
As Mining Engineer you will provide timely advice on medium and short term mine design, mining methods and schedules to achieve operational objectives. Your main duties will include:

Maintain current and accurate mine designs in accordance with up to date data;

Ensuring performance against mine plans and schedules is tracked;

Preparation of ongoing quarterly forecasts;
-
Preparation of reports on all changes to forecasts and their impact on mining and production.
The successful applicant will have:

A Degree in Mining Engineering
-
2+ years underground mining engineering experience
-
Previous experience in the gold mining industry
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
They are offering a competitive remuneration package on a FIFO 8/6 roster from Perth. Contract will also be considered for this role.
