MINING ENGINEERING JOBS: 8896 - Senior Mining Engineer
Our client is an iron ore producer also with a portfolio of development and exploration projects. They are currently seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to join them at their key operation in WA.
As a key member of the Technical Services team, you will be responsible for mine planning, designs and scheduling.
Responsibilities will include:

Liaise with mining contractors to ensure daily, weekly and monthly production and quality conforms to plan.

Ensure mine short term mine plans (2 weekly) are up to date and timely communicated to stakeholders.

Responsible for compilation of daily, weekly and monthly reporting.

Responsible for EOM processes and signoffs with mining contractors.
-
Responsible for drill and blast designs.

Liaise with mining consultants on Geotechnical, Hydrology and Hydro-Geology issues
The successful applicant will have:
-
Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
-
5+ years mining engineering experience
-
Sound leadership skills
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This role will be offered on a FIFO 8/6 roster from Perth offering an excellent salary package.
