MINING ENGINEERING JOBS: Open Pit Engineer - DIDO WA
Our client is an Australian Gold Producer currently seeking an Open Pit Engineer for a DIDO 8/6 roster from Perth.
Reporting to the Senior Engineer, the Open Pit Engineer will provide overall management and delivery of all drill & blast engineering works and related activities in accordance with the requirements of the operation, such as providing support to the operations planning processes.
The successful applicant will ideally have:

A Degree in Mining Engineering
-
2+ years drill & blast experience, preferably with 5 years open pit mining experience
-
Drill & Blast design experience
-
Progression towards Quarry Managers Certificate
-
Ability to manage contractors
-
Short term planning & scheduling
