MINING ENGINEERING JOBS: 8939 - Drill and Blast Engineer - QLD - Closed
Our client is an Australian based resource company with a focus on its key operation in South East Queensland. They are currently seeking a Drill & Blast Engineer to join them.
Duties will include but not be limited to:

Designing Drill and Blast patterns
-
Preparing daily and weekly drill and blast schedules
-
Analysis and performance improvement
-
Providing planning services in short, medium and long term
-
Supervision of junior engineers and other technical staff in their day to day activities
-
Project work as required
To be considered for this role you will require:
-
Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
-
2+ years experience in open pit operations
-
Excellent communication skills
This role is being offered on a residential or DIDO roster (3 hour drive from Brisbane), company car provided. A competitive remuneration package will be available for the successful candidate.
