METALLURGY JOBS: 8946 - Senior Applications Engineer - Alumina
Our client supplies specialty products and metallurgical services to the mining industry, with a major focus on performance improvement through specialty chemicals and technical solutions.
They are looking for a Senior Applications Engineer to lead a dedicated and high performing technical team and ensure continued growth through execution of their business model. This is a specialised technical consulting environment and applicants must possess a tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering. A proven record of successful business management and team leadership is also considered critical.
Working experience in the Bayer process would be highly regarded.
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, strategic capability, leadership skills, strong customer focus and problem solving through the application of sound business methodology and implementation of new technologies.
This position operates from a home office based in Perth, Mandurah or Bunbury, Western Australia with regular travel throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific / North America region.
The remuneration package is consistent with the importance of the position, including a generous base salary, company vehicle, superannuation and incentive plan.
