Contract Geologists – Mining and Exploration

Mining Employment Services provides quality contractors to the Mining Industry, for a range of roles in both Exploration and Mining projects. With the commencement of a strong financial year, we have a number of clients seeking Contract Geologists, for short and long term contracts.

Details

• We have a number of contracts throughout Australia, but primarily in WA
• We offer various rosters including 8/6, 9/5 and 2/1
• Extremely competitive day rates offered
• Numerous clients of varying commodities and locations
• Immediate start
• Some roles have the potential to develop into a permanent position

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Geology
• Minimum 1-10 years experience within Geology, but more is welcomed
• Experience in either Mining or Exploration Geology
• Experience in an underground or open pit environment
• Experience utilising geological databases and/or programs
• Must be available to commence within 2 weeks
• Previous FIFO experience
• Residing preferably in WA but otherwise Australia wide.

Contracts are an excellent way of covering the gap whilst seeking permanent employment or maybe even testing the role before making the decision to become a permanent fixture of the company.  Either way we have something to suit you if you are available now or within the next 2 weeks.  Many of these roles may become permanent, so even if you haven’t considered contracting this may be the perfect opportunity to try something new and see where it leads.
