MINING ENGINEERING: 5360 - Drill and Blast Engineer - Pilbara WA
Our Client is an industry leader for large-scale materials handling. The company has projects and opportunities in Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
They are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Drill & Blast Engineer to join their operation. You will be responsible for the planning, organising, leading, developing and monitoring of a team of people to work safely and achieve blasting production targets as required as per our clients standards, policies and procedures. You will also be directly responsible for managing the drill and blast workforce and providing management support to the Mining team.
Experience Required:
- Demonstrated ability to manage Drill & Blast teams to safe production outcomes
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the practical use of production drills and blasting techniques
- Demonstrated ability in the forward planning function of drill and blast activities
- Ability to development the drill and blast teams skill and experience base
