On behalf of our Client, we are seeking an exceptional engineering professional to join their exciting expansion project. In order to be considered for this role you will be a tertiary qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with a proven engineering project management background in materials handling or ore processing and be able to demonstrate experience in the delivery of projects to schedule and budget.

You will be responsible for –

• Providing guidance, co-ordination and management of the Client Project Team (CPT) and the EPCM team.
•  Ensure the engineering aspects of the Scope of Work for the project are clearly defined and are approved by the appropriate personnel.
• Oversee engineering productivity levels, Quality Assurance procedures and co-ordination procedures by the EPCM engineering team.
• Overview with the CPT the progress monitoring methods and procedures for Engineering by the EPCM team
• Overview the development of the Engineering design to ensure that it provides safe working conditions both during and after construction.
• Overview the preparation and submission of "as-built" documentation as well as development of the project Operations and Maintenance manuals.
• Assist with activities associated with pre-commissioning, commissioning, handover and rectification during the defects liability period for each facility.
• Establish and maintain systems to manage and evaluate scope of work changes and plant modifications.
• Attend meetings and presentations as required.
• Assist in selecting and appointing maintenance staff.

This role is offered on a fixed term, two year contract based on the East Coast of Australia and a highly competitive package including salary, performance and project completion bonus are all negotiable to attract the high calibre of candidates required to fill this role.
