The role of the Senior Project Engineer within the Production team is focused on delivery of the  processing plant debottlenecking/expansion on behalf of the operations team. The Project Engineer will be responsible for ensuring all requirements of the site operational team are met in the design of the expansion. The Senior Project Engineer will administer the contract on site for the design and construction of the expansion scope of work. The Senior Project Engineer will also act as a technical resource for the processing operations team and play a major role in the development and administration of the change management process within this team.    

Position Requirements;

• Tertiary qualifications in process, mechanical or electrical engineering 
• Postgraduate Studies in Project Management 
• Minimum of 7 years of discipline engineering experience
• Detailed engineering design focused on Minerals Processing facilities
• Minerals Processing plant commissioning.
• Understanding of other engineering disciplines and the coordination of these in the project
• Understanding of key project management metrics and how a detailed engineering and construction program is controlled

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop the project execution plan for the plant expansion
• Develop and maintain full expansion project schedule
• Provide key site input into detailed design
• Review construction methodology and provide key input into the development of this strategy
• Provide key input into the development of contractual documents for site execution of the project
• Act as Superintendent of the Expansion Construction Contract
