GEOLOGY JOBS: 7198 - Exploration Geologist - Iron Ore - CLOSED
Our client, a Perth-based iron ore explorer with exploration projects in the Mid West region of WA, is seeking the services of an experienced Exploration Geologist to assist them with their resource definition & exploration activies.
Main duties of this role will include managing all aspects of exploration drilling programs, including target generation, program design, rig supervision, logging & liaising with contractors & junior staff.
The company has an experienced team of geologists, modern camp facilities & an excellent 9 days on/5 days off fly in/fly out roster from Perth.
To be considered for this role, you will require:-
- 2-5 years field exploration experience (experience with iron ore would be an advantage, but not essential).
- Tertiary geological qualifications.
- Experience supervising exploration drill rig & exploration drilling programs.
- Experience with geological software, especially Surpac, ArcGIS & Target software).
